Terms & License

By using sfxreels and downloading our sound effects, you agree to these simple terms. The short version: the sounds are free and royalty-free, you can use them in almost anything including commercial work, and the only real rule is that you cannot resell the sounds themselves. Last updated June 2026.

License: what you can do

Every sound effect on sfxreels is royalty-free. Once you download a sound, you have a worldwide, perpetual licence to use it in your own projects, both personal and commercial. That includes Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube videos, client and brand work, monetised content, ads, podcasts, games, apps and presentations. No attribution is required, although a mention is always welcome, and you never owe a per-use or ongoing fee.

What you cannot do

The one thing you may not do is redistribute or resell the sound effects on their own. Specifically, you may not sell, license, share or give away the original audio files as a standalone product, and you may not include them in another sound-effects pack, library, template marketplace or similar collection where the sounds themselves are the product. You also may not claim that you created or own the original sound effects. In short: use them freely inside your own content, but do not repackage the raw sounds as something to distribute.

No warranty

The sound effects and the site are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. While we make every effort to keep the effects original and royalty-free, you are responsible for how you use them in your own projects. To the maximum extent permitted by law, sfxreels is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the sounds or the website.

Platforms and trademarks

sfxreels is an independent resource and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram, Meta Platforms, CapCut, Adobe or any other platform mentioned on the site. All product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility. We cannot control or guarantee how third-party platforms behave, including whether a given reel is muted, distributed or removed.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the site grows, for example when we add a paid pack or new features, and the date above will reflect the latest version. If you have a question about the licence or these terms, contact us at hello@sfxreels.com.
