License & Re-Creation Policy
Everything you can and can't do with sfxreels sounds — and exactly what our meme sounds are, so you can use them with total confidence.
The license in one paragraph
Every sound on sfxreels is royalty-free and cleared for personal and commercial use. Use any sound in Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube videos and Shorts, ads, client work, branded content and monetised accounts — forever, in unlimited projects, with no attribution and no fees. The only thing you can't do is redistribute or resell the audio files themselves as a sound library or pack.
What the meme sounds actually are
This matters, so we're explicit about it: the meme sounds and meme music on sfxreels — the Vine boom, Emotional Damage, the GTA-style mission sting, the Mario-style game-over jingle, the X-Files-style theme and the rest — are independent re-creations produced from scratch for this library. They are not the original master recordings, not samples of them, and not rips from any game, film, show or video. sfxreels is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the creators or rights holders of the original works these re-creations reference.
Because each file is our own original re-recording, it carries our royalty-free license like every other sound on the site — and platform music-rights systems (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Content ID) have no original recording to match it against.
What's allowed

What's not allowed
- Reselling or redistributing the raw audio files, individually or as a pack.
- Uploading the files to other sound libraries, soundboards or stock platforms.

Attribution
Never required. A mention of sfxreels is always appreciated, but it is not a condition of use for any sound, in any project, commercial or personal.
Questions
If you're unsure whether your use case is covered, it almost certainly is — the license is intentionally broad. The full legal terms live on the Terms & License page.
