Privacy Policy
sfxreels is built to be as low-friction as possible, and that extends to your privacy. You never need an account to use sfxreels, and individual sounds download with no sign-up. The only personal information we collect is an email address, and only if you choose to enter it to download the full 50-sound pack as a .zip. This page explains the little data that is involved. What we collect
You can browse sfxreels and download any individual sound effect without giving us any personal information — there is no account to create and individual downloads are not gated. The one exception is the full 50-sound pack: to download it as a single .zip, we ask for your email address so we can add you to our mailing list and let you know about updates. Providing it is always optional — every sound is available individually without it.
Analytics and cookies
To understand how the site is used and improve it, we may use a standard analytics service such as Google Analytics. These tools collect aggregate, non-identifying information like which pages are visited, the type of device and browser used, and an approximate, country-level location, and they may set cookies in your browser to do so. We use this only to see what is useful and what to fix. We do not use it to identify you personally, and we do not sell any data.
Third-party services
The site is served by a web host, and any analytics is provided by a third party such as Google, each of which processes data under its own privacy policy. Pages may also link out to other websites (for example editing apps we mention), which are governed by their own policies, not this one.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and the site will still work. If you would like to opt out of Google Analytics specifically, you can install Google's official browser opt-out add-on. If you joined our mailing list by downloading the full pack, you can ask us to remove your email at any time by contacting us. Otherwise we hold no personal information about you.
Children
sfxreels is a general-audience resource for video creators and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes and contact
